Burg Bratislava

Najstaršie múzeum s nepretržitou prevádzkou na Slovensku má 150 rokov a svoje narodeniny si pripomenie mnohými zaujímavými podujatiami za podpory známych osobností z hereckej a moderátorskej branže.

MMB plánuje svoje 150. výročie oslavovať eventmi a súťažami, no predovšetkým cyklom pútavých stretnutí vo Faustovej sieni Starej radnice, ktorých cieľom je priblížiť expozície múzea verejnosti populárnym spôsobom. Každé jedno z desiatich múzeí MMB získalo vyslanca, ktorý konkrétnu expozíciu predstaví vždy v poslednú sobotu v mesiaci. Cyklus stretnutí sa začal 20. februára s Lujzou Garajovou Schramekovou, ktorá fanúšikom dejín za asistencie múzejníkov sprístupnila Múzeum historických interiérov v Apponiho paláci. Cyklus bude pokračovať s Lukášom Latinákom, ktorý spopularizuje Múzeum Arthura Fleischmanna; tešiť sa môžete aj na Františka Kovára, Mariána Miezgu, Juraja Šoka Tabačka, Mariána Labudu, Adelu Vinczeovú, Kristínu Farkašovú, Ivetu Malachovskú a Patríciu Garajovú Jariabkovú. História múzea je bohatá 

O vznik Múzea mesta Bratislavy v roku 1868 sa zaslúžili Bratislavský okrášľovací spolok a mešťanosta Henrich Justi. Už rok po založení múzea sa v jeho zbierkach nachádzalo približne 1200 predmetov, pričom tie najstaršie pochádzali z 13. storočia. V roku 1918 múzeum disponovalo 10 182 zbierkovými predmetmi a v súčasnosti je ich vyše 125 332. Vzácne sú nielen exponáty, ale aj budovy, v ktorých sú umiestnené. Deväť stálych expozícií nájdete v architektonicky cenných a pamiatkovo chránených objektoch v centre starého mesta slovenskej metropoly, ďalšie dve sa nachádzajú na hrade Devín a v múzeu Antická Gerulata. MMB dokumentuje a prezentuje dejiny Bratislavy a jeho zbierky majú mimoriadnu umeleckohistorickú hodnotu. Ich súčasťou sú archeologické nálezy, pamiatky na remeselnú činnosť, etnológiu, numizmatiku, priemysel, kultúrny a spoločenský život vinohradníctvo či dejiny farmácie.
